The role involves managing and expanding the dealer sales network, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across the Romanian market. Main Purpose of the Job:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing and developing the company’s sales network in Romania. This includes implementing sales strategy, planning and monitoring sales targets, identifying new agents and business opportunities, and ensuring the overall growth and performance of the dealer network.
Job Profile:
- Manage, coordinate, and support the entire sales network across Romania.
- Implement the company’s sales strategy in line with approved sales plans.
- Plan and monitor sales performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensure the achievement of sales goals and drive the development of the sales network.
- Identify and recruit new agents and dealer partners.
- Establish and maintain sales standards across the network.
- Monitor the market and competition, and prepare regular analyses.
- Conduct marketing activities aimed at increasing sales.
- Support the education and training of the sales network.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners.
- Lead the sales cycle from initial contact through proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and technical teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans, tracking key performance metrics.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Monitor industry trends and legislative changes to anticipate customer challenges and propose solutions.
Candidate Profile:
- Higher education degree in Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in vehicle sales or automotive business development.
- Ability to identify and track market trends.
- Self-initiative personality with the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Oral and written proficiency in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the MS Office environment.
- Willingness to work in the field across Romania.
- Valid Category B driving license.
