The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data center network infrastructure, working with technologies such as Cisco and Fortinet. Main Purpose of the Job: The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the data center network infrastructure, including Cisco and Fortinet technologies. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of network technologies and protocols, along with experience designing and implementing complex networks. The role requires problem-solving ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Profile:

• Design, implement, and maintain the network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and other network devices from various vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Citrix, Brocade).
• Maintain the network and perform upgrades, install patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Work within established Configuration Management and Change Management policies.
• Provide technical network support, including traffic analysis and identification and resolution of performance issues; deliver L2/L3 technical assistance and troubleshooting in line with SLA requirements. Perform root-cause analysis and recommend solutions and optimizations.
• Communicate effectively with technology vendors and third parties (clients, partners) to resolve issues.
• Monitor and analyze network availability and performance, recommending optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between network infrastructure and other systems.
• Develop and maintain network infrastructure documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Evaluate new networking technologies and make adoption recommendations.
• Work with security teams to implement security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-ransomware, encryption, etc.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the network infrastructure.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members.
• Provide on-call support outside regular working hours.

Candidate Profile:

• University degree, preferably in a technical, IT, or related field.
• Advanced English, written and spoken.
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. Experience designing and implementing complex networks using Cisco, Fortinet, Citrix, Checkpoint, and other relevant technologies.
• Solid knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, VRF, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, STP, VPN, IPSEC, HSRP, VRRP, LACP).
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE), Citrix Certified Expert – Networking (CCE-N), etc. are an advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analysis tools (SNMP-based monitoring, NetFlow, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Experience with network automation and scripting using tools such as Ansible or PowerShell is an advantage.
• Public cloud knowledge (Microsoft Azure, AWS) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with the team, clients, and colleagues from other departments.
• High level of energy and enthusiasm to approach projects and team collaboration with a proactive, positive attitude.
