The role focuses on implementing the group’s sales strategy locally, coordinating the dealer network, and serving as the main link between Romania and the European headquarters. Main Purpose of the Job:
The Sales Director is responsible for coordinating and supporting the execution of the company’s sales strategy across the Romanian market. This includes supervising dealer operations, providing market intelligence, leading the local sales team, and maintaining communication between the Romanian sales network and the European headquarters.
Job Profile:
- Support the rollout of sales initiatives, commercial policies, and dealer programs approved by the European headquarters.
- Ensure that all local sales activities follow group standards and central guidelines.
- Maintain regular communication with dealers regarding sales operations, product availability, and standards compliance.
- Monitor dealer performance and escalate issues, risks, or deviations to senior leadership.
- Gather insights on the Romanian automotive market, competition, customer trends, and regulatory changes.
- Prepare structured reports on sales performance, forecasts, and dealer KPIs.
- Assist dealers with the implementation of sales tools, CRM processes, and pipeline management methods.
- Collaborate with headquarters teams across Marketing, Aftersales, and Finance to ensure effective local execution.
- Represent the brand at local events, dealer visits, and industry meetings.
- Lead the local sales team and manage daily relationships with stakeholders including retailers, agencies, suppliers, and media.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or an automotive-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales or dealer network management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in English; native Romanian speaker.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Romania.
