Technical Sales Manager

For our client, an international manufacturer in the field of personal protective equipment for working at height global leader in sustainable mobility, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager.

Job purpose:

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the market presence across Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Slovakia by driving sales growth, developing strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s range of personal protective equipment for working at height (PPE).

As the key commercial representative in the region, the role requires a proactive and results-driven approach to identifying new business opportunities, maintaining long-term partnerships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise and tailored solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell company’s products – range of Personal Protective Equipment for Working at Height (PFPE).
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of B2B clients across the assigned region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by developing strategic sales plans.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored safety solutions.
  • Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to distributors, resellers, and end-users.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance and product suitability.
  • Train customers and partners on the proper use and benefits of the company’s products.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals aligned with customer requirements and company pricing policies.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals in accordance with the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Monitor and manage contracts and agreements with key clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collect and report customer feedback to support product development and innovation.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the Sales Director.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned region to meet customers and prospects.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events
  • Organize and participate in training sessions and product presentations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in industrial or technical products.
  • Strong understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety standards is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, written, and read);
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and results-driven, with excellent business acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with weekly travel across the assigned region.
