Recruitment Specialist

PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Specialist with a strong recruitment core. This is a hands-on role built around talent acquisition  sourcing, headhunting, evaluating, and closing top talent across multiple functions. The right person brings a recruiter’s mindset: speed, sharp judgment, and the ability to spot the difference between a good CV and a great hire.

Location: Bucharest, on-site.

Main Purpose of the Job: To lead and own the full recruitment cycle end-to-end, ensuring the company consistently attracts and secures high-performing professionals. The role has a direct impact on team quality and business growth — every hire matters, and this person sets the standard.

Job Profile:

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle — from intake and briefing through sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support.
  • Run proactive sourcing and headhunting campaigns to identify and attract top talent for senior, niche, and hard-to-fill roles across multiple channels and networks.
  • Conduct structured, in-depth interviews — evaluate technical fit, motivation, cultural alignment, and flag potential risks before they become hiring mistakes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand real business needs, challenge vague briefs, and translate requirements into sharp, effective job descriptions.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline — keep relationships warm and candidate pools active for current and future needs.
  • Set a high hiring bar: focus on A-players, push back on compromises, and ensure every shortlist reflects quality over volume.
  • Deliver a professional, transparent candidate experience throughout the entire process — from first contact to offer acceptance.
  • Track recruitment metrics, maintain clean data, and provide regular reporting and insights to support data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Stay plugged into talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and innovative sourcing techniques to keep the recruitment strategy ahead of the curve.
  • Support broader HR activities when needed — onboarding, employee engagement, and internal team initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–5+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, with a proven track record in end-to-end hiring — not just coordination, but real sourcing and closing.
  • Strong headhunting skills — experience identifying and approaching passive candidates for mid-to-senior and niche roles through direct search.
  • Sharp evaluation ability — comfortable running structured interviews, distinguishing high performers from average candidates, and spotting hidden red flags.
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken — used daily as working language.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously without dropping quality or losing momentum.
  • Strong stakeholder management — confident working with hiring managers at all levels, including pushing back when needed.
  • Highly structured, proactive, and detail-oriented in how you plan and execute searches.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive candidate and company information.
