PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is looking for an experienced and strategic Export Director for its client, a prestigious and leading Romanian wine producer. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a professional who thrives in international markets, builds long-term distributor partnerships, and elevates brand visibility across key global territories.

Location: Bucharest (with extensive international travel)

Main Purpose of the Job: To develop, execute and continually optimize the company’s export strategy, identifying growth markets, selecting the right importers and distributors, and ensuring strong performance of the company’s portfolio in all overseas markets. The role collaborates closely with the Marketing Department for communication assets and brand-building materials.

Job Profile:

• Develop and implement an international export strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Identify, select, and manage partnerships with importers and distributors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to ensure optimal sales and profitability.
• Monitor global wine trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for expansion.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create impactful communication for each market.
• Prepare and manage export budgets, forecasts, and market performance reports.
• Represent the company at major international wine trade fairs and industry events.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience leading export operations, ideally in wine or beverage/FMCG.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution and adaptability.
• Fluent in Romanian & English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Availability for extensive travel.
