PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is hiring a Data Engineer with AI expertise for an international partner operating in the advertising and direct response marketing industry, active across the US and European markets.

Role purpose

To transform raw data into actionable business insights by building robust data pipelines, performing advanced analytics, and implementing AI driven solutions that support fast and informed decision making across marketing, e commerce, and operations.

Responsibilities

Data & Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and AI or ML use cases
• Implement ETL or ELT processes and ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability
• Manage and optimize data structures within data warehouses or data lakes

Analytics & AI

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and automation
• Build interactive dashboards and reports for technical and non technical stakeholders
• Use AI tools and APIs such as OpenAI, LangChain, or RAG pipelines to automate analysis and reporting

Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, product, and management teams
• Document workflows and collaborate through Git based version control

Candidate profile

Technical skills

• Advanced SQL and Python, including Pandas and NumPy
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Hands on experience with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or equivalent platforms
• Experience working with APIs and data modeling best practices

AI and Machine Learning

• Solid understanding of core ML concepts such as classification, regression, and clustering
• Experience with scikit learn or similar libraries
• Familiarity with LLM based solutions and AI applications in analytics

Professional skills

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non technical stakeholders
