PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is hiring for a global leader in intelligent heating and energy systems. We are recruiting two Business Developers to support market growth in Romania:
- Business Developer – South Region, based in Bucharest
- Business Developer – Central/North Region, based in Cluj / Târgu Mureș / Alba Iulia / Sibiu
Both roles are field-driven positions focused on developing new partnerships and expanding sales of advanced heating and heat pump solutions across assigned territories.
About the role
This role sits at the intersection of decarbonization, energy efficiency and the heat pump revolution. We are looking for sales professionals who combine technical curiosity, commercial discipline, and a proactive hunter mindset.
Role Purpose
Drive business growth in your assigned region by developing new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and supporting sales of heat pumps and advanced heating solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
This is a strategic, field-driven business development position not account maintenance. 80% field activity
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand a strong network of partners (installers, distributors, contractors, developers, consultants)
- Identify and win new projects in residential, commercial & industrial segments
- Promote and sell heat pump & HVAC solutions with consultative approach
Build early influence in the decision-making chain (designers, specifiers, procurement teams) - Manage the full commercial cycle: prospecting, proposal,negotiation,closing
- Provide commercial and basic technical guidance to partners
- Conduct sales forecasts, pipeline reporting & KPI follow-up
Monitor market trends, technologies & competitors - Represent the company in market events, partner meetings, trade shows & presentations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics & technical support teams
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- 3+ years experience in B2B technical sales (HVAC, energy, construction or related)
- Proven new-business development track record
- Solid understanding of heating / cooling systems (preferred)
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts with clients
- Strong negotiation, presentation & relationship-building skills
- Confident working independently, organizing your field agenda
- CRM & MS Office proficiency
- Language Requirements :English – good working level, Hungarian or French – nice to have
- Strategic AND hands-on
