Job Profile
For the Bucharest office of a top logistics company, we are recruiting a Road Freight Executive.This is a full-time, on-site position, part of an operational team dedicated to international road freight operations. The role does not involve direct reports and reports to the Operations Manager.
The purpose of this role is to coordinate and execute international road freight operations by applying industry knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service. The main objective is to ensure efficient operations aligned with client requirements and global logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and suppliers by contracting international road freight services
- Monitor transport processes and achieve monthly targets
- Actively promote and sell transport services
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure efficient service and resolve issues promptly
- Support reporting and documentation needs for clients and internal teams
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in road freight operations
- Strong knowledge of European geography
- Advanced computer skills
- Fluency in at least one foreign language (written and spoken); knowledge of a second foreign language is an advantage
- Communicative, proactive, goal-oriented, stress-resistant, and efficient both individually and in a team
