Regional Market Expansion Manager (CEE & Balkans)

PuntoUP Professional Recruiting is hiring for its client, a company specialized in the production and distribution of agricultural machinery and gardening equipment, with a strong presence in Romania and over 15 other European countries a Business Development Manager / Expansion Manager/Regional Market Expansion Manager (CEE & Balkans)

Important: This role requires 100% availability for frequent and extensive international travel.

Role Scope

The primary mission of this role is to open new regional markets and develop a strong B2B distributor network in Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and the Balkans. You will be responsible for building and organizing the local presence (including setting up legal entities and integrating partners), with strong sales, strategic, managerial, and administrative involvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and open new regional markets in the target countries.
  • Develop and strengthen the B2B distributor network.
  • Set up and structure local entities (legal, administrative, operational).
  • Drive strategic, managerial, and operational initiatives to support market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders and partners.
  • Act as a key representative of the company in new markets, ensuring brand alignment and high business standards.
  • Coordinate and lead local teams as the network develops.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant experience in the agricultural sector (large agricultural machinery) or alternatively in power tools.
  • Previous experience in business development and expansion in international markets, especially in Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Exposure to processes related to establishing and organizing legal entities in new markets.
  • Advanced English skills (both written and spoken).
  • Strong “can-do” attitude, high level of initiative, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent relationship-building and local networking skills.

Reporting & Structure:

  • Reports directly to the CEO
  • Works closely with the Export Manager.
  • Supported by finance, commercial, and logistics functions
  • Will coordinate and build a team.
