We are looking for an Senior Accountant in Bucharest for our client, a prestigious player in the financial sector.

Role Summary:

As a Senior Accountant / Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting laws and fiscal regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to our client’s management team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Direct systematic recording of financial data in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports and fiscal declarations.
• Manage a team of accounting professionals, setting clear objectives and evaluating performance.
• Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, providing detailed reports on financial status and outcomes.
• Oversee compliance with fiscal obligations, and manage relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

Requirements:

Certified Accountant, with CECCAR membership preferred.

An economics degree with at least 3 years in a managerial accounting role.

Strong experience in regulatory compliance and financial reporting.

Excellent command of English and proficient in using advanced financial software.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
