PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is seeking a proactive and highly organized Event & Program Manager for its client, an organization running entrepreneurial education programs and a series of professional talks designed to connect and inspire business leaders.
Location: On-site, Bucharest, Romania
Main Purpose of the Job: Coordinate and develop an entrepreneurial education program with recurring workshops and networking sessions, while also managing a series of professional talks (approx. 12 per year). The role combines program management with event coordination, ensuring seamless delivery and strong engagement across both initiatives.
Job Profile:
- Manage the full lifecycle of an entrepreneurial education program (spring and autumn editions, plus evening workshops), including participant communication, trainer/speaker coordination, partner relations, and on-site logistics.
- Coordinate and host a series of professional talks (approx. 12/year), from speaker liaison to participant engagement and event management.
- Manage marketing campaigns together with the digital agency (ads, social media presence, content creation, posting).
- Handle sales campaigns (convert incoming leads via phone into paying participants).
- Develop and manage sponsorship campaigns (designing and selling sponsorship packages).
- Prepare and align content with trainers and speakers, providing support before and during events.
- Act as host and moderator for trainers, speakers, and participants during workshops and talks.
- Collect feedback, prepare reports, and contribute to the continuous improvement of program content, style, and format.
- Ensure that all events align with the organization’s mission and values, delivering a premium participant experience.
- Gather insights on participant development needs and connect them with business leaders from the wider community to accelerate their company growth.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in program management, event management, or similar roles.
- Strong promotional, sales, and organizational skills, able to manage multiple communication streams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, confident in interacting with entrepreneurs and top business leaders.
- Comfortable with public speaking and acting as event host.
- Experience with social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook); content creation skills are an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Romanian.
- Proficiency in MS Office; event management or design software experience is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, solution-oriented, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
