Sales Representative (raw materials)

PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative for its client, a well-established distributor of chemical products for industrial applications. If you have a strong technical background, are passionate about B2B sales, and want to work with clients in sectors like metal treatment, industrial cleaning, and oil & gas, this opportunity is for you.

To develop and manage commercial relationships with clients in technical industries (oil & gas, metallurgy, metal treatment) by promoting and selling a wide range of specialty chemicals, including solvents, corrosion inhibitors, acids, and degreasers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, product knowledge, and a technical understanding of client applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate chemical products from the company’s portfolio.
  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up to resolve any operational or technical issues.
  • Organize and conduct at least 3 field visits per day; maintain regular phone contact in absence of in-person meetings.
  • Keep clients informed about new products, updates, and stock availability.
  • Record client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system and generate daily reports.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on sales performance and business pipeline.
  • Meet sales targets and continuously grow the active client portfolio.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market developments, and report relevant insights.
  • Participate in internal meetings and collaborate with technical, procurement, and logistics teams.

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree – preferably in Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B technical sales (chemical products, metal treatment, or industrial applications).
  • Strong understanding of the industrial chemical market and relevant technical applications.
  • B-category driving license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both oral and written).
  • English – advanced level.
  • Organized, results-driven, autonomous, with a professional attitude and presentable appearance.
  • CRM proficiency and solid Microsoft Office knowledge.
