PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is searching for a proactive and customer-focused Sales & Event Planning Representative for our client, a premium events venue located in Bucharest. Main Purpose of the Job:
To drive sales and manage the full lifecycle of private events, from lead intake to post-event feedback. The role blends commercial strategy, client management, and creative execution, contributing directly to the growth and reputation of the venue.
Job Profile:
- Handle incoming leads quickly and effectively (via email, phone, WhatsApp).
- Present the venue to potential clients through guided site visits, showcasing available spaces (The Loft & Orangeria) and services.
- Build and customize commercial proposals based on event type (weddings, baptisms, product launches, conferences, video shoots).
- Negotiate terms and close contracts with potential clients.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with unconverted leads to maximize conversion.
- Maintain and develop partnerships with event agencies, planners, PR companies, and production teams.
- Offer creative consulting and propose event concepts, layout, themes, and unique experiences.
- Coordinate with all vendors (catering, bar, décor, entertainment, tech, photo-video) before and during events.
- Create detailed event plans, including layout maps and execution timelines.
- Supervise internal and external teams during events (wait staff, bartenders, decorators, technicians).
- Monitor the quality of services delivered during events and respond to on-the-spot challenges.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost control throughout the planning and execution phases.
- Conduct post-event feedback sessions and internal reports.
- Maintain client relationships and follow up with tailored offers for future events.
- Support marketing efforts by creating presentation materials and keeping track of industry trends.
- Update the CRM and maintain accurate customer data and sales status.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in sales, event planning, or client-facing roles.
- Experience in the events or hospitality industry is a strong plus.
- Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Romanian.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and solution-driven.
- Proficient in MS Office, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM tools.
- Creative and customer-oriented with a natural flair for aesthetics and ambiance.
- Able to manage stress and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Availability for occasional weekend or evening work (depending on event schedule).
