Sales Representative

PuntoUP Professional Recruiting is looking for a Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a multinational company specialized in the trade and distribution of metallurgical products and industrial raw material, with a solid and growing presence on the Romanian market.

Location: Bucharest, travel required

The role involves developing and managing long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and actively contributing to the growth of sales in the assigned region..

Key responsibilities:

  • Visit existing clients regularly to maintain strong commercial relationships and stimulate sales growth
  • Identify and approach new clients within the assigned territory with the aim of closing long-term contracts
  • Promote the company’s product portfolio during client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Conduct market analysis and report insights related to competition, product performance, and market dynamics
  • Become fully familiar with the company’s product range, features, and benefits, and communicate them effectively to clients
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams, flagging any issues related to offers, orders, or deliveries
  • Monitor and report market opportunities or challenges through weekly reports and direct communication with management

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Valid category B driving license
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in industrial, construction, or metallurgical sectors
  • Availability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
