PuntoUP Professional Recruitment is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer (Design Systems Builder) for its client, a fast-growing product company with a mature engineering culture and short, efficient delivery cycles.

You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-quality front-end architectures and design systems that power data-secure, high-performance web applications with real user impact.

Job Profile

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces based on Atomic Design principles (atoms → molecules → organisms → templates → pages).
• Build and expand Design Systems using Tailwind CSS and Storybook, ensuring clear documentation and adoption across teams.
• Write clean, testable TypeScript/JavaScript code and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs with strong error handling, caching, and data validation.
• Apply front-end security best practices: input validation, secure storage, secret management, and protection against XSS/CSRF vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Design and Back-End teams for incremental delivery, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
• Ensure accessibility compliance (ARIA, focus management) and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals).
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement of team standards.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in modern front-end development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React (Hooks), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Storybook.
• Solid understanding of Atomic Design and Design Systems (componentization, theming, tokens).
• Experience integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and applying security best practices on the client side.
• Knowledge of accessibility, performance, and modern web best practices.
• Proficient in English with clear and professional communication skills.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering clean, maintainable code.

Plus

• Experience with multi-brand theming, internationalization (i18n), or SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js).
• Familiarity with OAuth/OIDC authentication and GDPR compliance.
• Strong sense of ownership and experience with scalable design system architectures.
